Sounds great! I'm pretty happy to hear you plan to sell the story. Always good to hear someone wants to get their work published.

Well, I can understand why you might want to get rid of some Nazi elements, but in my opinion, I feel it's best to go with what you really want, and this I know from personal experience. Trust me, you might just hate your own work after doing it and I'm not kidding.

Sure, some parts of it may turn certain editors off, but who cares? The process of looking for the right editor in the right house is pretty much like looking for a needle in a haystack, but hey, in the end, you're rewarded for your patience and persistence, right?

(If you ever have any questions about publishing, I'm here for you.)

well good luck with your writing..! tho i will miss reading the story... :(

but like someone else said i don't think you have to dumb it down such much on the Nazi content....i'm sure you can find someone to publish/edit it. there is this one person who is making a graphic novel with gayness and Naziness, and she found herself a publisher and is even selling the novel on amazon...so yeah..there are people that will do it for you...besides.. your story is set in a AU.. its not uber Naziness. :B

Well, I'm only altering it in that I'm making it more pre-WW1 Imperial Germany, with some Third Reich elements. But really, aside from the uniforms, it was never too Nazi, in that it didn't agree with their policies.

Thanks for the support, it's really great. :3 I've still got a long way to go though.

Don't worry, I'll probably post parts of it on here to get people's opinion.

I'm not changing it too much. Just little things, to make it more seperate from the whole Nazi ideal, if you see what I mean.

So, you're changing it to roughly the time of the Weimar Republic, when the Nazis weren't in power yet? Sounds neat. I haven't seen many works of fiction featuring this period, so I think it's nice that you're using it in your story. Those were some interesting times, with the Freikorps and all. It's too bad they're so underrated, though.

I shall enjoy reading your WIPs...and slowly ripping them into tiny pieces. :mwahaha:

Good luck with the rewrite. They can be frustrating things!

Well really since its a sort of alternate universe/world of its own, it's more a sort of society very similar to the German Nation under Kaiser Wilhelm II with some Third Reich influences. And lots of Thirties/Forties stuff, because I love those decades.
And there's the Albion side of things too, which is a mix of the above with Victorian, British Empire and so on as well.

Sounds good, sounds very good. I've always loved alternate universes, especially those with influences from the thirtie's and fortie's.

Good! Good! I want to see pieces!!!

I'm enjoying it, but I do keep agonizing about keeping a balance between being literary, with charecter development, and symbolism, and being interesting. I have no idea how good it is, since I'm seeing it from the inside. Imagine you're in English! Analyse me!
